After the flap of Valentine’s Day is over, remember that you can look forward to the Toronto Motorcycle Show this weekend, running Friday-Sunday at the Enercare Centre.

This week is the Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council (MMIC) show, which means almost all the motorcycle manufacturers are there with shiny displays, and fewer vendors selling things like beef jerky or rude T-shirts.

Friday, as always, is She Rides Night (aka Ladies Night), with discounted admission for women and Kawasaki Versys-X 300 being given away to a female rider. There are two more Kawis being given away Saturday, a pair of Z125 Pros (if you’re a dude, you’re still eligible to win one of those).

This year, the OPP’s Golden Helmets precision riding team returns, along with riding instructor Clinton Smout with his usual lineup of training and skills demos. Latimer Stunts has a team at the show, and the Yamaha Riding Academy is also back, getting kids on minibikes. You can see a full list of exhibitors here.

You can buy tickets at local dealers, at the show doors, or online. Doors are open noon-9 PM Friday, 10 AM-8 PM Saturday and 10 AM-5 PM Sunday. More details on ticket prices and other offers are all available at the show’s website.
